Managing Companies
This guide covers how to create and manage client companies in MyStudio.
Accessing Companies
Navigate to Admin > Companies in the sidebar.

Companies Overview
The Companies page displays:
- Company name and abbreviation
- Primary contact
- Number of users
- Number of projects
- Total spent
- Last activity
Creating a New Company
Step 1: Click New Company
Click the New Company button in the top right.
Step 2: Enter Company Details
Fill in the company information:

Step 3: Save
Click Create Company to save.
Viewing Company Details
Click on any company to see its full profile.

Company Information
- All entered details
- Creation date
- Total spending
Users Tab
See all users associated with this company:
- Name and email
- Role
- Status (active/inactive)
- Last login
Projects Tab
View all company projects:
- Project list
- Status breakdown
- Revenue generated
Assets Tab
Company-specific assets:
- Uploaded brand materials
- Shared files
Editing a Company
- Click on the company to view details
- Click Edit button
- Modify the information
- Click Save Changes
Managing Company Users
Adding a User
- Go to company detail page
- Click Add User
- Enter user details:
- Name
- Role (Client Manager or Client User)
- Click Create User
The user will receive an email invitation.
Editing a User
- Click on the user in the list
- Modify details or role
- Save changes
Deactivating a User
- Click on the user
- Click Deactivate
- Confirm action
Deactivated users cannot log in but their history is preserved.
Resending Invitations
If a user hasn't completed registration:
- Click on the user
- Click Resend Invitation
Company Statistics
Financial Summary
- Total quoted
- Total invoiced
- Total paid
- Outstanding balance
Project Summary
- Total projects
- Active projects
- Completed projects
- Average project value
Searching and Filtering
Search
Use the search bar to find companies by:
- Name
- Abbreviation
- Contact email
Filter By
- Industry
- Activity status
- Project count
- Revenue range
Sort By
- Name (A-Z, Z-A)
- Recent activity
- Project count
- Total spent
Best Practices
Company Naming
- Use full legal business names
- Keep abbreviations consistent (uppercase, no spaces)
Contact Information
- Always include billing email
- Update contact details promptly
User Management
- Assign appropriate roles
- Remove access when no longer needed
- Regularly review user lists
Documentation
- Note important client preferences
- Track communication history
Troubleshooting
User Can't Log In
- Check user status (active/inactive)
- Verify email address is correct
- Resend invitation if needed
- Check for password issues
Missing Company
- Check your filter settings
- Search by different criteria
- Verify company was created successfully
Wrong Information
Edit the company record immediately to prevent confusion.
