Creating a Project
This guide walks you through creating a new video project in MyStudio using the project wizard.
Starting a New Project
- Click New Project from the dashboard or projects page
- Follow the 3-step wizard to provide project details
Step 1: Video Type

Select the type of video you need:

Click on your preferred video type to continue.
Step 2: Requirements

Specify your project requirements:
Format Options
Select all formats you need:
- 16:9 (Standard Widescreen)
- 9:16 (Vertical/Mobile)
- 1:1 (Square)
- 4:5 (Portrait)
- Custom dimensions
Duration
Indicate the expected video length:
- Under 30 seconds
- 30 seconds - 1 minute
- 1-3 minutes
- 3-5 minutes
- Over 5 minutes
Production Requirements
Check any that apply:
- Filming Required - New footage needs to be captured
- Interviews - Talking head or interview segments
- Voice-over - Professional narration
- Animation/Motion Graphics - Animated elements
- Music Licensing - Licensed background music
- Stock Footage - Additional stock video needed
Timeline
- Filming Date - When filming should occur (if applicable)
- Delivery Date - When you need the final video
Step 3: Brief

Provide detailed information about your project:
Project Name
Give your project a clear, descriptive name (e.g., "Summer 2025 Product Launch Video")
Description
Describe what you want the video to achieve:
- Key messages
- Target audience
- Tone and style
- Specific requirements

Need help writing your brief? Click Use AI Assistant to:
- Generate a structured brief from your notes
- Get suggestions for key elements
- Ensure you haven't missed important details
The AI will ask you questions and create a professional brief template.
Attachments
Upload any reference materials:
- Example videos
- Brand guidelines
- Scripts or storyboards
- Images or logos
Supported formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX, PNG, JPG, MP4, MOV
Review & Submit

Before submitting, review all your selections:
- Video Type - Confirm the correct type
- Requirements - Verify formats and production needs
- Brief - Check your description and attachments
- Timeline - Confirm dates are accurate
Click Submit Project when ready.
What Happens Next
After submission:
- Confirmation - You'll see a success message with your project ID
- Team Review - The production team reviews your request
- Quote Preparation - They prepare a detailed quote
- Notification - You'll be notified when the quote is ready
- Approval - Review and approve the quote
